Elevation Conversations
Honest and uplifting conversation between creatives is foundational for personal and professional growth, which is why Virtuosa Society's "Elevation Conversations" are a central tenet of membership.
- Each week, founder Katie conducts a LIVE conversation with a diverse plethora of Virtuosas.
- Within the Elevation Conversations Library, all conversations are archived to watch and rewatch for convenience.
- The Elevation Conversations Library also houses full video recordings of Katie's interviews with female creatives for the Virtuosa Society Podcast's "Between the Bio" series. This is a member exclusive!
- IRL Elevation Conversations are held once-monthly in Southern Oregon, with plans for expansion to chapters in a city near you!
MENTORING
MicroCourses
Mentorship is one of strongest ways to gain confidence as a creative. Learning from a mentor who's walked a mile in your shoes (figuratively - although sometimes literally) is both powerful and transformative.
- Our MicroCourse format makes it easy to learn from experienced, thoughtful and passionate Virtuosas who've gained expert-level knowledge in their field and desire to pass it on to you.
- Each MicroCourse is no more than an hour long with easy-to-follow lesson breakdowns, which you can watch at your own pace.
- New MicroCourses are added each month, which adds diversity to the range of topics covered and continued opportunity to learn from more and more women.
- Each MicroCourse has captions, transcripts and a PDF journal companion for accessible learning options. All PDF journal companions can actually be stacked together for comprehensive review. I'm Katie Harman
Founder of Virtuosa Society
In 2017, Katie Harman began a search for the works and stories of hidden female composers. As she scaled mountains of research - all while heavily pursuing her own professional journey as a musician - she noticed patterns of struggle among female creatives throughout history and across genres. The stories of secret (and some not-so-secret) societies that emerged from shared struggle was a lightening rod, and Katie wondered: does a platform exist to draw modern creatives together to network and foster collaboration, furthering purpose-driven work across creative industry?
Thus Virtuosa Society was born as an answer to Katie's wonderings.
